Climate change is imminent. According to WMO, global average temperature rise will likely exceed 1.5°C within five years, which causes 70-90% of coral reefs to disappear, and marine ecosystem to collapse.
To mitigate climate change, more than 120 countries have pledged to reduce emission to net zero by 2050. At least one fifth of the world's 2000 largest public companies also have committed to the net zero emission targets. This year, Delta also announces the pledge to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.
Facing up to climate change, Delta launches ‘sustainable conservation, nurturing life’ initiative. We cherish energy and hope to hold warming to 1.5°C; while treat environment well and expect to get marine biodiversity back.
